I enjoy both a big group breakfast here and an evening to lightly taste the menu. Definitely the best bailey's coffee I've had. The menu was also delicious with impeccable service. A not so little gem, very beautiful within and especially worth a visit.

Excellent location to everything in lovely Kilkenny. Our room with a castle view was clean and comfy; the breakfasts were very nice, too. We TRULY appreciated the reception staff's friendliness and insight to places like The Dylan and Cake Face, plus we would have missed going to The Rothe House with its interesting history and amazing gardens (where we enjoyed sitting and reading for an hour) but for the reception staff telling us about this place being a favorite. The hotel staff clearly loves their city and enjoys helping to share it with visitors. Also, we arrived early due to car rental limitations but, even so, your staff provided us with drink vouchers to wait in the restaurant for our room (again, we were early--our fault); a hospitable kindness that was appreciated. I have already recommended your hotel to friends. Merci!

We keep coming back to their restaurant. The food and the menu is so tasty and there are lots of great options. They have dog friendly area outside too that is so comfortable and relaxed, so we can come with our dog too. All the staff are alway very helpful and friendly.

Very clean, in very good condition, friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was probably one of the best I've had. Would highly recommend it. Perfect location for a city break, with secure private complimentary parking.

rooms nice & clean comfy , parking in a cramped car park bit awkward. Breakfast tasty ( set number of items eggs 2 sausages etc) delivered to table , no buffet. would use this hotel again

What more is there to say, staff very friendly and helpful, our room was excellent with free WiFi, and the food was cracking. The Pembroke gets the full thumbs up from me. Stay here and enjoy your stay in Kilkenny.

Excellent location just a couple of minutes walk to the Kilkenny Castle. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was lovely. The only downside is that parking is not on site, but it’s only a couple of minutes walk up the road.

Had dinner last night in Stathams and everything from start to finish was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was amazing! I had the tomahawk pork steak and it was delicious! Special mention for Dermott who took great care of us! Looking forward to our next visit!
